A publication after the "New are Here!" exhibition (Moscow Museum of Modern Art).

Despite the Iron Curtain, the New Artists group was a part of the world art process. Although isolated from international artists, they were close to the Neo expressionists of the 80's New Wave. Inspired by the ideas of the Russian Avant-garde, they refused formalities, trying to change the cultural and everyday space of the life surrounding.

The New are Here!  exhibition contains all kinds of artistic activities by the group members, each one being much more than merely an artists - the "New Artists" acted as musicians, poets, writers, and actors too. The exposition includes prints, panels, collages, author's books, mail-art, films, and videos, literary works
