The book is replete with breathtaking photography and in depth interviews with the featured artists, offering a glimpse of a still largely underground movement, one that has been quietly developing and mutating the language of graffiti and it's basic building block the letterform. If our own Ric Blackshaw's Scrawl books can be said to have documented the gestation of the street art revolution and spawned a plethora of imitators then this publication picks up the baton and focuses on an area of practice that may offer a way out of the cul-de-sac that many people feel contemporary street art has wandered down in the intervening years.
